Manufacturing Thought

Manufacturing Humans and Manufacturing Thought are two articles written by different people; bringing diversity in opinion. Hope you enjoy the reading!

Manufacturing Thought
I would like to start this post by sharing a very thought-provoking quote that is quite relevant to the subject that will be succinctly discussed in this post:
Be careful whom you associate with. It is human to imitate the habits of those with whom we interact. We inadvertently adopt their interests, their opinions, their values, and their habit of interpreting events.
Epictetus

Modern men and women from the time they are born are being conditioned to think, act, pursue, and live just like the herd (the group)/ in the current society that they reside in. We are told we are genetically wired to need others. The famous Maslow’s hierarchy of needs pyramid has belonging as one of the key elements:

We are thought how to desire and over consume immaterial things and make those immaterial things the focus of our lives. Has it ever crossed our minds how or why people from all over the world want their kids to grow up to be doctors, lawyers, teachers, and engineers ? Yet we claim to be so different because of where we live and what deity we worship but are we really that different or are we really allowed to stray too far from the herd?

In actuality as a former member of the United States Military I understand the need to have uniformity or the need to follow a manufacturing process to train and develop the next generation of sailors, airmen, and soldiers. We need people to defend us from the other people from around the world who are also being manufactured to believe a certain way of life or a certain ideology is the right way of life and those who don’t follow that ideology are the enemies of the state.

Modern governments that are considered to be the most attractive or the most stable have a lot of things in common. They all have a great many of sightless people who are mentally conditioned to follow and to think less on the things that may make life better for all! If the vast majority are mentally conditioned to not be able to think critically they will be easily controlled to follow. The world in order to continue being as is needs a great multitude of followers who will do what they are told to do because they have a manipulated/an engineered dream that they are trying to achieve which is more of the status quo.

Modern society works on over consumption. We mostly consume too much information, too much food, too much negativity, too much stimuli, too much everything and that is by design. Modern society needs us to have no will power, no control over our behaviors so they can mold and condition us as needed. People have a great need to belong to be a part of something and those who are in conditions to meet that need take full of advantage by making belonging more important than questioning the behavior and thoughts of the majority.

The HIStory of man is a history of a circular series of cascading failures. From the dawn of time man’s curiosity has led to a great multitude of  inventions that have truly made us supposedly closer in proximity but has also made us mentally more distant. The advancement of humanity almost correlates to the diminishing of the natural order of things because the philosophy of man is there is no limit.

The Natural Evolution of Societies and Human Beings mean we have to change and adapt to current norms in order to survive. However, all societies need stability because they want to go against the natural order of life which is the cycle of living and dying which includes the death of societies and governments.

So for societies to survive may be longer than they need to have order. This order happens by controlling and directing thought. We look at HIStory we see the fall of countless great empires or great countries but are we studying how they progressively failed to prevent it from happening today. I believe the answer is yes and no. I believe the minority of those who control governments know and appreciate the natural order of life and things but they must prolong the natural order of the rise and fall of all things by molding the minds of the doers who must do the work of the master architects.

Current humanity is led by the supposed master thinkers and doers and those who historically have controlled and shaped the desires of the working majority and it will continue to be that way until the majority want something else. The majority will be handicapped to make that something else a reality because their thoughts and desires are sculpted. It’s hard to break the mold when we are living a manufactured concept of living-born, receive an institutionalized education, interact with liked minded people, accept social prejudices, accept moral relativism, enter the manufacturing industry (all industries are manufacturing something), get married to someone who looks and believes in the same things that we do, produce offsprings because we need to continue the circular cycle of manufacturing consumption to provide the next factory workers, retire from active manufacturing work and eventually die and the cycle is repeated.

The real work of life requires people who are not easily manipulated and who have an uncompromising focus on accomplishing something uncommon. Society views this type of focused and determined people the few, the odd as the uncommon and society does not need all of us to be the exceptional they need more manufacturing workers than supposed free thinkers. It’s should not be a surprise when we visit different countries we realize most people regardless of their culture, how they dress, what language they speak, we are all the same because we are being manufactured by designing and manufacturing thought.
To control thought is the real work of modern man not to liberate it because control is critical to the castle in the sand standing longer than it is supposed to stand.
